Amazon is a multinational technology company that focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence. It is a highly influential economic and cultural force and is one of the world’s most valuable brands. Amazon partnered with Combustion Marketing to develop a series of impact reports that showcase how Amazon supports the communities it calls home. The reports highlight innovative initiatives including investment in affordable housing, access to technology education, programs to address food insecurity, and natural disaster response and humanitarian relief efforts, and underscore the commitment of Amazon employees to their local communities.

A legendary automotive showcase

Attracting more than 170,000 attendees, the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) is one of the largest and most influential automotive industry events in the annual calendar. We work with the GIMS team to create the Forum, an exclusive executive-level conference examining the hottest topics in automotive. Our remit includes crafting the value proposition and messaging, developing the full-day conference program, securing the C-level speakers, creating PR, social media, web and sales content, and managing the onsite execution of the program.

A leading provider of cloud and software platforms

Calix delivers industry-leading cloud and software platforms, systems, and services that allow broadband service providers of all sizes to simplify their business, excite their subscribers, and grow their value. To support their rapidly expanding business, Calix contracted with us to provide content development services including copywriting and editing for a range of projects from press releases, newsletters, and blogs, to ebooks, whitepapers, success stories, and use cases.

A must-attend communications industry event

DTW – Ignite brings together leaders from the telco and cloud worlds, fueling the innovation and collaboration to ignite industry growth. The TM Forum team partnered with Combustion Marketing to develop an exciting new brand identity for the event, a refreshed value proposition, compelling segment messaging, and an aggressive attendee acquisition plan to support the show’s ambitious growth aspirations. Drawing on our years of experience at Mobile World Congress, the Geneva International Motor Show, and countless other events, we are excited to work with the TM Forum team to take DTW – Ignite to new heights.

An industry association focused on secure digital services and devices

GlobalPlatform is an international industry association focused on the delivery of innovative digital services and devices, while providing greater end-to-end security, privacy, simplicity, and convenience for end users. GlobalPlatform engaged the Combustion Marketing team to redesign and modernize its brand identity and to develop a range of assets including the annual report and corporate communications materials. The Combustion team is also providing marketing support for key programs and initiatives including the Security Evaluation Standard for IoT Platforms (SESIP).

A provider of breakthrough cybersecurity solutions

ARIA Cybersecurity provides innovative, next-generation security solutions for organizations across industry sectors, including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, energy and utilities, and government. ARIA engaged with the Combustion team to support the launch of their latest product, AZT PROTECT, a breakthrough patented solution that protects operational technology (OT) environments from all cybersecurity threats, known and unknown. Leading up to the July 2023 launch, we created a full suite of content, including a solution overview, datasheet, use cases, web copy, white paper, and infographic. To communicate the news, we developed and distributed a press release, accompanied by a series of social media posts and a blog post. The Combustion team extended its partnership with ARIA, creating an ongoing, multi-faceted marketing program to build further awareness of ARIA and its solutions among critical stakeholders.

A pioneer in mobile spectrum technology

Cohere Technologies is the innovator of spectrum multiplier software for emerging Open Radio Access Networks and existing 4G and 5G mobile networks, and the developer and patent holder for the Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (OTFS) waveform for 6G wireless communications systems. To raise the profile of their innovative technology, Cohere partnered with Combustion Marketing to refine their positioning and elevate their presence at leading industry trade events. This included pitching and securing executive-level speaking opportunities, developing dynamic onstage content, and building their visibility through targeted media relations.

A leading innovator in low-code software development

Slingr is the developer of a cutting-edge. low-code software development platform. The company is focused on helping enterprises benefit from exciting new software development capabilities that are secure, customizable, and affordable. To access opportunities in a new industry vertical, Slingr partnered with Combustion’s digital marketing team to develop compelling content and run a paid social lead generation campaign focused on the rapidly developing laboratory information management system (LIMS) space. The campaign generated high-quality qualified leads that will ultimately fuel Slingr’s growth.

mimik is reimagining the cloud, transforming powerful edge devices into cloud servers, and enabling an exciting new generation of apps that save network bandwidth, reduce latency, better protect data privacy, are more interoperable, and offer dramatically improved economics. To support their growing business, mimik partnered with Combustion Marketing to refine their market positioning and support their ongoing marketing program with services including content development, public relations, social media support, executive communications, and more.

A global leader in cyber protection

Acronis delivers integrated, automated cyber protection solutions that solve the safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity, and security challenges of the modern digital world. Given our deep experience in creating world-class conferences and events, Acronis selected us to take the lead on their newly expanded Acronis #CyberFit Summit World Tour of partner-focused conferences. The Combustion team drove the delivery of four global events—including two hybrid events—providing a range of services including event management, brand and communications strategy, digital marketing strategy, content review and copywriting, keynote speaker acquisition and management, sponsorship support, and crisis and risk management, among others.

An innovative broadband service provider

Founded in 1950, Norvado is Northwest Wisconsin’s premiere local broadband technology provider, leveraging cutting-edge innovation and small-town service to keep the communities it serves connected, vibrant and competitive. Norvado sought our expertise to develop a communications strategy that would build its perception in its newer service areas, with campaigns incorporating elements such as content creation, social media, public relations, customer relations, and more.

A world-leading provider of in-wheel motor technology

An early pioneer of in-wheel motor (IWM) technology for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and future transport solutions, Protean Electric is primed to capitalize on the burgeoning market opportunity for battery electric vehicles. Protean Electric tapped us to develop an external communications program that would convey the significant momentum behind the company and demonstrate how they are meeting the market with a reliable, tested, and cost-effective solution ready for massive deployment.

A leading provider of innovative solutions for security and protection

Since 1974, Martin Systems has provided leading-edge security technology solutions to communities across northeastern Wisconsin. Through a unique discovery process, they engineer relevant security, fire protection, life safety, property, and home technology solutions to address specific customer concerns. Martin Systems looked to Combustion to develop and implement a comprehensive social media program with the goals of building brand awareness, establishing them as security industry thought leaders, and ultimately, driving new business.

A global communications trade association

For more than a decade, we led all marketing for the GSMA, supporting the organization’s industry-convening events, technology programs and advocacy initiatives. Programs included event marketing, conference development, solutions marketing, industry purpose, member services, digital marketing, brand management, PR and AR, social media, executive communications, crisis management and employee communications. These marketing initiatives helped to establish the GSMA as the voice of the mobile communications industry and contributed to the significant growth of the events business, particularly the flagship MWC events.

A transformative educational startup

Following the Northern Ireland-based company’s launch in 2018, we evolved the corporate positioning and brand, revamped the website and related assets, and established an ongoing PR and social media program. We refined the partner propositions and program content. We wrote the benchmark 2018/19 mTech.Academy Report Card documenting the program’s impact and presented the findings in both a half-day business event and a student showcase. Our awards program activity resulted in mTech.Academy winning a 2019 DANI Award and being shortlisted in the prestigious Reimagine Education Awards and Irish News Workplace and Employment Awards.

A technology powerhouse

We drove all marketing activity for the Microsoft Communications Sector business, which focused on telecommunications, hosting and media & entertainment companies. Over four years, we implemented end-to-end marketing programs including strategy, solutions development, PR and AR, brand and content, industry events and Microsoft conferences, digital marketing and sales enablement. Our efforts supported Communications Sector’s growth to become a $2.5 billion annual business and increased its perception as a leading supplier to communications companies.
